TRAVIS PARMELEY
Travis Parmeley Β· Tattoo Artist at Permanent Vacation Tattoo
Artist Bio
Travis is a tattoo artist at Permanent Vacation Tattoo known for bold color, illustrative designs, and expressive custom work.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Travis has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. Over the years he's illustrated, painted abstract watercolor, and airbrushed everything from t-shirts to motorcycle tanks - experiences that strongly influence his tattooing style.
A lifelong music fan, Travis can usually be found at concerts or record stores. When he's home, he's often watching horror or sci-fi movies, cooking, and blaring the stereo.
His work is heavily influenced by music and album-related art. Favorite artists include Ken Kelly, Drew Struzan, Olivia De Berardinis, Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, Gil Elvgren, Alberto Vargas, Basil Gogos, Ed Roth, Coop, Neal Adams, and Bob Layton.
Travis began tattooing in 2008, which eventually led to Permanent Vacation Tattoo in 2018.
